While most teenagers at this age are glued to gaming consoles or school homework, Vaibhav calmly took on world-class bowlers who are twice his age or more. This shows us what true passion looks like!

Vaibhav’s IPL debut on April 19, 2025, for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) against the Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) was pure cinema! He rained the sixes and fours like there is no tomorrow along with his partner batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who also played amazingly. 

Faced with seasoned bowlers, he announced his arrival by smashing a strong six off his very first ball. He scored a quickfire 34 off 20 balls. His innings ended with Rishabh Pant stumping him. While going back, cameras captured the teen wiping away his tears.

The way Vaibhav played showed that he is a confident and fearless man who is also passionate and grounded, as he wipes his tears. It says that he is deeply invested in the game and despite his talent, he is emotionally connected and real.

The perfect opening partnership scored 171 runs in just 78 balls on 28 April 2025, RR vs GT. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a marvelous 70 runs in 40 balls. And the star of the IPL, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, scored 51 runs not out in mere 17 balls and is still playing. And became the youngest to score 101 runs not out in just 38 balls. 

The stadium was full of the sixes and fours like the sky full of shooting stars, one after the other. 11 sixes and seven boundaries—instrumental and emphatic 8-wicket victory by RR!

He was born in 2011 in the Samastipur district of Bihar. His father recognized his passion for cricket and enrolled him in a local academy. 

Later, he started advanced training, which led him to Patna, where Vaibhav trained under Ranji player Manish Ojha. The commitment was immense, and the star was in the making!
